2000 Pace Arrow not charging

Hello all I have a 2000 pace arrow not charging the house batterys. converter was replaced with a9260 GD converter charger. as i thought the issue was the converter. Converter output Reading 13.4 volts from converter. Gen is also not charging the batteries. Battiers are tested good and with load test and read 12.5 volts each. when done on external charger and hold a charge for days with nuthing hook up to them. running the motor with charge the batteris. Shore power will not and gen will not. Cant seam to figure it out.

Thanks
Mike.

Check the solenoids that connect when a charging current is present, if so equipped. Most likely the issue. There are many variations of how RVs are wired to connect both battery systems when a charging current is available, I can't tell from here how yours are wired for this. Do you have a boost button on the dash for emergency starting? Does it still work? That would be step one to tracking down the problem.

Yes there is a boost button and it does work when the bateries are low and wont start the gen I can use it to start the gen or via versa. it does have silonoids behind the battery controle electronics. under the hood that all the batery cable seem to connect to.

Next you'll need to find the battery isolation controller.

Products - DC Power Management - Intelligent battery charging -

It might look like one of the above products. Check and see if it shows signs of heat or melting.

The generator in your Pace doesn't charge batteries by itself. It merely provides 120v power to the converter, same as shore power does.
