2002 Damon Intruder 375 Workhorse

Hi there, we just purchased our new 2002 Damen Intruder 375 Workhorse. It's pretty awesome and everything worked including the power shades.(LOL). I am having some challenges now. We went camping once and everything worked 100% including the dash air when driving and the roof air when connected to power, the hydraulic jacks and the alarm for them. After the first week....it happened. System failure. Not sure what it is. Hydraulic jacks work perfect but the safety alarm and dash light stopped working, the power mirrors stopped working, the Colman Mach roof air only works on manual mode and low fan. (no high speed fan or thermostat operation) and the dash ac does not work. The heater motor fan will not work and the ac condenser does not engage. What has happened. All the fuses are good in all three panels. Under the dash, it looks like there has been some mods done over the years but nothing looks out of place. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thanks My biggest concern is the roof AC and the dash AC. Thanks for your help.

bkintruder,
My guess is that a ground wire corroded or lost connection. I would check the connections at both sets of batteries(coach and chassis), Also the connections at the converter/inverter. Your roof air has 12 volt controls. After rereading your post, I would say your problem is on the chassis battery side. Also check the battery to make sure it is good.

Thanks Frank, I was thinking it might be a ground. I am going to clean the battery terminals (they have a little corrosion) and check under the hood. The battery's are brand new. Its a bit of a rats nest under the dash so hard to trace a lot of the wires. I'll give it a shot.

bkintruder,
Make sure that you check both sides of the ground wire, also any ground straps from the motor to the frame and from the coach to the frame. Good luck in finding your problem, just be slow and methodical when you are tracing everything down. You also may want to clean up the wiring under there, if possible, it will help you later.
