2006 Sightseer Awning/Brake issues

Help!!
I have owned the Sightseer since 09/09. I believe it was imported to UK by a Dealer in 2006. The dealer concerned & the next dealer who took them over have both ceased trading so I have no contact point. I have 2 serious issues at the moment.Driving through Italy My right rear brakes Seized on and overheated and later I had serious brake fade,a UK,garage has examined the Brakes and tells Me that all Calipers & Discs etc etc will have to be replaced which will be a huge expense.
Can anybody tell Me if this model might have been subject to a recall byWinnebago/Worhorse & if so how that would operate here in the UK?

The second major problem. The main Awning, which I believe has the long post, was ripped off in a storm and needs replacing but I am being asked for a part number for the roller/ frame which nobody can give Me up to now.
Can anyone assist please with Either problem.

If you have the 22000 lb chassis there was a brake recall in that era. The calipers need inspection and replacement. It is done in the USA free under warranty. I don't know how it would be handled in the UK. If you search in the Workhorse subforum, you should find plenty of information about the recall.

My guess is the recall is invalid once the unit is outside the continental US.

Usually there is a sticker with a model number on the awning arm or roller tube.

You can also get a lot of parts info on the Winnebago website - they maintain manuals & brochures for all older models. See Winnebago Product Information | Motorhome & RV Information and enter your year & model info.

You can also call Winnie Customer Service for help.

Thanks for that. Awning & Frame were scrapped before I could get the numbers. So will try your other suggestions.

There should be a specification tag at the bottom of the driver's door. There should also be a load chart inside one of the cabinet doors (most likely a bedroom closet door).
