We recently purchased a new Dolphin and we are aware that National has filed bankruptcy. On our maiden voyage, we have noticed after driving 1500 miles, that there is a noise in the air conditioning unit. We believe that it is the fan hitting the squirrel cage. We had a service technician look at the a/c unit, but unfortunately, National welded the unit into the coach. It seems the only way to get this unit down is to cut the angle bar and lower the a/c unit down. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem and how did they resolve it? We will be getting back to our dealer when we return from our vacation, but our conversation with him resulted in him stating that his facility cannot raise the RV and lower the a/c unit.

Hi parski and welcome to Irv2.

I haven't heard that the basement a/c's in Dolphins needs to be cut out for maintenance, so maybe it is worth checking further before doing that. Hopefully some other Dolphin owner will know the full story and provide an answer.

I'm going to link this to the National RV Owners section to improve chances of a response.

Try the National Group at Yahoo. There's a great guy from NRV who follows the post there.

Where are you?
Maybe someone in your area will know a reputable dealer that can take a look at your problem.
If your near Delaware I recommend ParkviewRV in Smyrna, Delaware.

Send a message via ICQ to Fred and Bonnie
Why not contact the A/C manufacture RVP Products?
