2008 Winnebago Destination 39W rear gas engine

I'm considering purchasing a 2008 Winnebago Destination 39W with rear gas engine. Great price. It has 25,000 miles and I tow a 2012 Ford Focus. I have heard concerns about this engine's towing capacity and overheating... Any help or thoughts? Like to learn more about this before purchasing. Thanks!

I have heard a few claims about problems with the UFO chassis, but don't know if any truth in them. We have an '08 38J with the 8.1 W24, and no problems pulling our 2010 Ranger, so I'd think you will be OK. Hope some UFO owners will chime in here.
Maybe post another thread "UFO are you happy?"

I have 69,000 miles on mine in the 9 1/2 years I have owned it. I tow a Honda CRV. I would buy another one if they still made them. Some owners have had trouble with the brake system, I haven't had any trouble with my brakes. You might want to post on the Workhorse Chassis forum for better responses about the chassis.

08 Winnebago Destination 39W Gas UFO Workhorse Chassis......It's really weird being the same age as old people. I thought getting old would take much longer.

Latitude 39W

I have owned a Latitude 39w now for 9yrs(Already!)with 41000 miles. I love the chassis and the wide open floorplan. Grant it has had its issues, but all in all it has been a great coach. Items that we have encountered. #1 Fan clutch recall for overheating. 3 cracked spark plugs from overheating causing an overheated transmission to the point it needed to be replaced. The parking brake would not release(See thread in workhorse chassis). Leaking leveling jacks, microwave issues. If you can get the repair history of coach from the owner it would be a plus. If you dont mind me asking, what is the price they are selling the coach?
