2008 Winnebago Storage tip

A long time "round-tuit" resulted in a slight modification to my storage compartment. The 2008 Winnebago Destination, and her sisters, has a pass through compartment about 8-10 inches or so deep. The bays and pass through are all molded plastic one piece construction, and on an XC chassis. I put my chairs, brooms, and a few plastic storage boxes in the pass through.

Prior to today I took some non-slip stair tape and cut pieces that would fit on the top rail of each rib in the compartments and pass through. The configuration, for non Winni owners, is about a 2 inch rail, then a dip of about 2 inches, and so on all along the bays and pass through. It is all one contiguous (Sorry Dennis. Another big word - I know you are watching) unit. The non slip tape does a pretty good job of holding things from sliding around. However, there are some rough roads, don't you think?

So today I had some long swimming noodles. Hmmm! I cut them to the length of the indented ridge, then slipped them in between objects. It will now keep things in even a tighter and neater arrangement. They can also be cut to form angled barriers for an indent that meets an object half way through the indent.

No charge. Seajay will pay me 10 cents.
