2015 Itasca Sunstar kitchen vent and slide noise

Just picked up this new RV 2 weeks ago and am trying to minimize road noise. The outside flapper from the kitchen vent flaps like crazy, does anyone have any suggestions, keep in mind the outside is about 8 foot to the vent.
The 2 front slides make a loud squeak/crack noise by the top slide track. I sprayed slide lube on the area and will see if that works this weekend. Any ideas on this.

I presume your slide has the Schwintec mechanism? If so do a Google search, lots of issues and suggestions.

Can't help on the vent flapper, we don't have a flapper, I have to control cold wind coming in when parked,

Fred

There are some great informational threads regarding the slide slap noise issues on the Winnebago forum for IRv2, so check them out for good info. Spray solved our problem but the type of spray appears to make a difference. I recall its CRC Power Lube with PTFE.

I used it (on both ends) and the slapping sound cleared right up.

The vent flap is a new one. Have not had a problem with ours.
