2016 Fleetwood 35k water heater issue

Our 2016 Fleetwood 35k water heater switches above the front door for elect/lpg won't turn on. The only thing I did was to turn off the propane two days ago. I'm new at this and don't really know if I have to light the pilot or if I have an electrical problem.

2016 Model..........doubt you have a pilot flame type. Highly likely a DSI (Direct Spark Ignition---automatic)

But you have to have 12V DC for propane ignition and propane valved in service
If Atwood Brand you also have to have 12V DC for relay that allows 120V AC to electric element

If Suburban Brand you need 12V DC for proane ignition and propane valved in service
For electric you need 120V AC

Are you plugged into shore power (or have generator running)?
NO.then electric will not work on either water heater brand

Do you have 12V DC ---lights work etc?
Is battery disconnect off---salesman switch that turns 12V DC off?

What Brand/Model is water heater?
Good battery voltage
Propane valved in service

Water heater filled with water........make sure it has water otherwise you can burn out electric element or possible damage to water heater tank if propane fires up

Post more detail info....what it is, what is does, what it DOESN'T do etc

I checked with Fleetwood this morning and they tell me that the switches not lightning up is a good thing, they light up when there's trouble in the system. Hot water heater is working fine, propane and electricity.

Well that makes sense.........you 1st post stated 'won't turn on' and 'propane valved out'

Light is a Fault Light.
Comes ON if: (Atwood Brand)
Propane fails to light off/prove main flame lit/'locks out'
ECO (high temp t-stat) OPENED....either while on electric or propane

Comes ON if: (Suburban Brand)
Propane fails to light off/prove main flame lit/'locks out'

If you look at this thread you will see it is not difficult to add "water heater on" lights. I will caution you that they only indicate that the switch is on they do not tell you if the heater is actually working. Allegro Water Heater Light
