No pictures showing up Max...they would really help all who read this post. Can you try to post them again?

Does one of those Yellow wires lead to a fuse in the 12 volt side of your panel? Also, do you have a solar panel on the roof?

DC hot sides fused.

Lets try again..Input 12v are definately red at lower right, but yellows also have 12v to ground.

Crud, still not showing. Maybe it's just me

The thing is it could be anything. I think you may need to spend some time in the basement and trace those wires.

Are there any other wires on that Bus or just two yellow 8 gauge wires?

One of the most important things to keep in mind...what they've done may make no sense at all. I have seen some really weird and unexplained wiring. Again, start tracing the wires.....

Sadly, this site isn't letting me post pictures. The attachment asks for a url. The pix is on my desktop.I've tried several ways and will try a couple more. Yes I do have a 10 watt solar, but it's LED has never come on. I've replaced the panel, but no red LED in the air conditioner grid. Do get voltage there though.

If everything else fails disconnect them one at a time and see what quits working.
