303 Decal protectant, tried it, don't know.
I used the Aerospace 303 on my decals for 2 yrs.
The decals (once in good shape) still became water stained as much or more than before.
Some people swear by this product. They say wax can
crack the decals.
Is there anything better?
Thanks in advance.

303 is a UV protectant, not a stain preventative.

When we sold our 05 5th wheel last April the decals looked very good, just slightly faded. I never used anything on the decals, never did use wax on the filon and decals walls, just the front and rear gel-coat caps got a Gel-Coat wax treatment at least once a year. CW said the exterior looked like new when they assessed it for trade-in value.

AZ, many people swear by Red Max Pro, which is an acrylic floor sealer, think Mop N Glo, sold by Home Depot or similar product sold at Lowe's. Actually, I don't think Red Max is made anymore but the replacement product is Zep. You'll find more info looking under waxing on this and other forums

Just traded our 2004 Starcraft trailer in. Had laminated sides. Never waxed it nor put anything of any kind on it over the 9 years we had it. Just washed it now and then. It was stored in a covered outdoor storage facility when not in use. Other trailers that are uncovered I see with fading, peeled decals etc.
Now we have a new gel coat 5th wheel. Not sure how to take care of it.

303 is a excellent product for UV protection! Tires, vinyl, radar domes, AC cowls, etc. it has to be re introduced to these areas every two to three months. Remember UV protectant only. Try using "Rejex" which is a polymer filler, aka, wax type of product. If applied per instructions you will receive three to five months of protection, much like a wax.. Big, huge advantage nothing sticks to it for several months even in a harsh Florida environment. Bugs wash off initially with just a hose, even later just a brushing with water only. Like it, even for "Love Bugs!" Better than "Rainex".

I think you are replying to the wrong person, I did not ask a question.

I agree with the "Rejex" Product. I applied this spring on our 31 year old MH Class A and the bugs do just come off even on the chrome bumpers , even a wet cloth will do.
I will use it again. I tried on my 64 deville convert and same results.
I am not affiliated with this product, Except I used it.

303 is water soluble, so it only protects until the rain washes it off... I buy and use it, but it ain't cheap. Over $20 a 32 oz. bottle @ CW. What you may be seeing is the residue running down your RV...

One of 303s selling points is that it has no petrolium products in it, therefore, good for tires.
