See the 'facts' for yourself. Do a search for "Insert Name" msds found here:

Original Protectant - Armor All

See what it contains:
Ingredients
Non hazardous silicone emulsion 5-15%
Other non hazardous ingredients 5%
Water to 100%

And then, comparing to 303 (for which there are several different products):

http://www.primescapeproducts.com/do...PROTECT-16.pdf

303 AEROSPACE PROTECTANT ™ Chemical Name: SOLVENT MIXTURE
This product is classified as a HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE and as DANGEROUS GOODS according to the classification criteria of NOHSC: 1008 (2004)and ADG Code (Australia). The Ingredients? "Propietary"

"303® Aerospace Protectant™ does not contain any harmful silicone oils, which can dry out and damage surfaces."

From the instructions: "

Out of direct sun, spray surface with 303® Aerospace Protectant™ and WIPE COMPLETELY DRY. If streaking occurs, too much product has been used. Use a wet towel to remove excess, IMMEDIATELY WIPE COMPLETELY DRY. Note: this product does not air dry. Extra buffing with a dry cloth INCREASES bonding, repellency & longevity. "

Bold text is the original from the mfg.

303 is not a wax. It's a UV protectant - and it works as such. We've used it for many, many years with excellent results and it doesn't wash off. It lasts quite a while.

We've also used it on the Diamond Shield for 10 years and it still looks new.

I lost track of the general intent here - commenting i guess?

I likes my 303 for plastic and vinyl stuff. Def is not a consistency like the old AA stuff. Has achieved recommending to coworker level of cred, too. My intro was away from the RV world and in the detailing world. Still.

If a $20 is a tough leap, then look at it this way - you'll pay half that much for AA, but 1974 won't show up asking for their nostalgic goo back.

What has worked for us for many years and proud to show off our glistening 1999 MH any time.
Your mileage WILL vary.

I've used 303 for the past 4 years and buy it from CW by the gallon when its on sale. Everything plastic and rubber gets applications after washings.
