On the local news channel tonight were video of a South East Houston RV Storage Facility (A & B) that was on fire. So far reported were 48 RV's (MH & Trailer) that have gone up in smoke. Propane tanks were popping all over the place. Once the fiberglass caught it was just moments before the entire camper was engulfed.
Scared the daylights out of me when they did not give the location right away, but then I remembered my MH was in the driveway here at the stick house. Fortunately it was not my storage facility.
Some insurance companies are in for a big pay-off.
It is my understanding that the storage facilities are not responsible for loss. They get you to sign a paper to that extent.
Edited: You will have to put up with a short commercial before the video begins.

GraciesMom,
I can sympathize. I have the same type storage here in Texas. But it could just as easily happen at a CG, or a Wally-world parking lot. That's what I have insurance for and I hope it pays off well if it should ever happen. I just don't want to be in it or around it if it ever happens.

How sad this is for the folks that lost their motor homes or campers. I feel so fortunate to be able to have a 28 X 44 garage attached to my home. I have had to move my MH twice. Once in 96 when we had a train wreck hauling propane and our city was evacuated for 18 days. 4 years ago my neighbor's garage burned and my DW pulled the MH out and parked it across the street.
