So, does the 2008 model lose two bays? On my 2007 I've got the utility bay that looks like the above photo, then to the right of it I have a skinny bay, then to the right of that is the generator bay, which holds the generator and also has another skinny compartment (without a separate external door) that holds the power cord.

To the right of the utility bay is the generator bay to the right of the generator bay is the pass through storage bay. I think in place of the 2 skinny bays the 2008 has the pass through bay.

I am also going to be doing mine this way. I purchased it today from Tweety's for $299. It should be delivered in a few days. I have a 2003 National Dolphin and plan on putting it in the same compartment as my transfer switch. I wish it was outside now to be doing planning, but here in the cold state of Wisconsin, it must sit in storage for these cold months. I think I got a good price for it thru Tweety's, TechnoRV wanted over $380. Its the same exact one from Progressive Ind. What I will be purchasing from TechnoRV next week is the Eyelog Cell Phone Security Camera. It works by motion detection and takes video or still shots of possible intruders and sends the pics to my cell phone within 90 secs. Just alil added security, just like the surge protector. Hopefully the other guys with this project will post some pictures to give us some ideas. Thanks again for all the postings.

Hey Hipshot. I installed mine today and it fits perfectly in the rear of the right side. All I have to do is put a tie wrap on it and it stands up. Easy to read and out of the way.

Great idea Cilff I'm going to give that location some serious thought. I like that location better that my idea of laying it in front of the utility panel.

I just started a new thread in the RV Systems Forum looking for a source for the good black 50 amp male and female

plugs. I don't like the Camco ones I bought for this job. Anybody have a source or link for me? Thanks

RV Upgrade sells a female 50 amp made by Progressive. I have not been able to find a male plug other than CCI, Campco and some really cheap ones. I've never used Campco what don't you like about them?

I ordered from RV Upgrades and they sold me the Camco's. I'll call them Mon. I found the Camco's to feel light and cheap. I broke a screw putting it back together. The CCI male is what I used . I had one and will order another. Thanks.

While I like the idea of a pass-through bay, I think I prefer my layout, with the electrical stuff completely separate from the water stuff!

The " electrical stuff " consists of a powercord plug mounted in the ceiling that's weather proof. A lot of MH's have these connections mounted on an outside wall. As for me, I love the passthrough.
