If you click on the arrow at the top under the date it will take you back thru the blog. From what I read, they think it was a brake that hung up and the tire skidded until it caught on fire.

I carry 3 large ones in the RV and a small one in the tow car.

**The fire Marshall arrived and later told us that it appeared to be a wheel bearing which locked up, causing the tire to simply drag until it caught fire and blew.**

We will be putting a couple of good size extinguishers in the pick-up after reading this story.

Good to read that everyone involved was ok...possession can be replaced.
