A&E Awning fabric replacement Metal cover

I have been all over looking for the replacement fabric for the model 9000 awning with the metal alumiguard roller cover. Has anyone replace there's and what kind of cost.

Try Dyers RV. We bought ours there, around $200, although it was the 8500 series. I believe the alumaguard are a tad more. Had it within a couple days.

I just recently bought the material from Dometic. $392 for an 18 footer.

they want more like $365 for a 19 foot and the little extra fabric for the metal cover jack the price over 135. I think they are all a bunch of rip offs.

Just checked my order. It was $367 plus shipping= $392 total, and it is a 19 footer.

Order on line 19' metal wrap $334
One without the metal wrap $254

Do you really need a metal wrap?

Is the one you ordered 18oz Vinyl Heavier than any RV OEM fabric (Original Equipment Manufacturers)?

I like the metal cover as it protects against tree limb pulling or ripping fabric when traveling in tight places. All they are adding is another sewn in rope to engage the cover. Not sure why it should cost so much more.
