On the 83 Fleetwood Pace Arrow, I have the A & E hydraulic leveling jacks system, the booklet does not show a model number but it has a Fenner Stone hydraulic pump and it is missing the breather filter/cap. [all of the model number etc have worn off the sticker on the pump so I do not know it's model either] I looked all over the internet to try and locate a replacement, but being ours was missing when we bought it I really don't even know what it looks like so that makes it harder to find, I did contact the maker of that pump but so far I have not hear back from them. Does anyone have a similar system and if so can they provide me with a source to replace the breather filter/cap?

I have attached a couple photos of this unit for your review.

I can not take the motorhome out before I replace this cap, so I would welcome your help in locating the needed part.

Hi,

our 1987 Bounder has A & E hydraulic levelers , I haven't looked at the pump yet to see what make/model it is , but the parts info booklet that our MH came with shows a part number of #143437 . From looking at the picture of your levelling pump looks mighty similar to ours

Will have a check to make sure will take a picture for you too

Does the breather cap have 3/4" 1/2" or 3/8" threads

I have no idea! Sorry ... Never looked at it or disturbed the cap, booklet doesn't say either.

Hi tried looking at the pump can verify it is a Fenner made pump, the model # & info plate is rather weathered & cant quite read it all! But its the same make as Yours so the cap number should be good. However that maybe the A&E number for the cap & not the Fenner serial.

If it looks like pipe thread, aka NC or National Coarse, you can probably find something that fits in a hardware store. Or maybe one of those threaded nylon plugs used on water heater drains would make a temp closure so you could use it while you search.

If push comes to shove, wrap tinfoil over the spout and tie it tightly with wire cable ties. That will keep it clean until you can find something that fits.
