Thumbs up A recommended Camping World

I see lots of Camping World bashing going on these days so here's a plug for one store that "gets it right." If you bare inn the s/w Utah or n/e Nevada area and need assistance, go to the Camping World location in Saint George, UT.

The service manager, Pete, and his crew of technicians are top notch! Pete has a quiet demeanor that really "works." He is very knowledgeable but quick to turn to his technicians for technical advice when required.

On several occasions, travelers who attempted to have their RVs serviced in the Las Vegas area but were unsuccessful, for whatever reason, drove up to the St. George Camping World and found a service crew eager to get them repaired and on their way.

The parts and sales departments exhibit the same "can do" spirit!!

I have no affiliation with Camping World and won't earn anything for taking the time to extoll their attributes BUT I am one satisfied customer of this store.

Regards, Jim R.

That's what we need to hear! I hear alot about where NOT to go for service, but I need to know where TO go for service. I live 300 miles north of St George but spend alot of time in Southern Utah.

I know I shouldn't have but I had CW look at my wiring after blow out . The tech said twice I need to leave and get some wire ends. I replied why you haven't but any wires together yet just twist them together and see if it works then worry about it. I should patience after 20 minutes I sent him on his way.

Any RV repair facility is as good as the techs they have at any given time. Sometimes a good group of techs and sometimes maybe not...

Have to plug the CW in Houghton Lake Mi. they have treated us newbies well in both sales & service after the sale. We went with CW over a single location dealer due to fact they are nation wide. We did shop around at other single dealers in other states, some are very vague in what they sell & want to sell you more than you need...

We also had dealings with CW in Houghton Lake, MI and it was a good experience. People seemed very knowledgeable an helpful and service was god. Also went to CW in Grand Rapids, MI and it was not as good an experience but they finally go it done and it was fixed correctly and cost was fair.

How sad that a positive comment about CW, only garners less than a dozen good comments about this poorly run establishment.
You would think that with the overwhelming negative comments that CW gets on a daily basis, Marcus would start running his business like he advises so many others to do.

Marcus only runs some of the Camping World sites. Some are franchise operations. That puts the question of who is bad, Marcus or the franchisee?
