A strange answer

Just a quick story on our trip to the Calif. rv show in Pomona this week. We were looking at an American Coach Revolution, the sales says it's all electric so I ask how many batteries the coach has and he says he thought it had 24 or 25. He then proceeds to tell us all the wood work is dovetailed, so I open a drawer and its stapled, I say nothing but dw won't let it go and says no it's stapled and then educates him on what dovetail is. It was to me humorous that he was trying to sell something he knew nothing about. He was a very nice individual though.

First question , I ask of any RV salesperson. " What type of RV do you own ? "
If the answer is " I don't own an RV. " I won't bother talking to them.
They were probably selling runners at Big Five , last week.

24 or 25 batteries... Were they "D" cells?? Most RV salesmen can't spell "RV"!

So did you get the coach? Bet as naive as he was any offer you made would not go through if THEY lost money.

No, we were on a fact finding mission. We did come to a decision to buy a new Dutchstar next year.

Good Choice! That's probably what we should have done for the third time rather than getting the Magna and leaving the Newmar "fold"!

You should have asked him what the price would be without all the batteries.
