A unique travel idea.....

Hello to all from a seasoned, experienced RVer.

Today I was reading The Journey of a Lifetime by Malia Lane and was inspired to reach out to fellow RVers. First, let me say I live in Florida, retired, educated, have traveled around the country 10 times, travel in a 38 ft Class A, towing.

Starting mid July, I plan to start a 2-4 month trek. I thought it might be fun to reach out to any travelers who may be interested in a small caravan. It doesn't matter to me singles, couples...equipment in good shape, financially secure, pleasant, fun to be with, seeks adventure.

We could meet up at different parts of the country if necessary. I have organized many events in past years, so details are my speciality.

I would want input from all interested, so suffice it to say eventually I would like to make it out to Idaho, Oregon, Washington, etc and anywhere around and in between.

What do you think? If this peaks your interest, please contact me through this forum for now. I will give other forms of contact at a later date.

Happy traveling....

Nancy S.

Sounds like a great plan. We will begin our adventure this summer. I am afraid we would slow you down. DW wants to see everything.

I have been wondering about the same thing. We are leaving June 13th from the Midwest... heading due west using 72, 36 & 80 to Jackson Hole. We will explore the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Glacier, Mt. Rushmore, Badlands and back home by June 30th. Fuel is relatively inexpensive and we are primarily boondockers. So. We have no expectations other than covering some miles every day.

Maybe if not totally travel in a 'caravan', but possibly meet up at a campground here or there on your journey. Not to add another 'dimension' to your plans, just another thought.
