Had an engine fire on a Memorial Day Saturday, a few years ago. Good Sam was ready to tow it but I could find a shop open until Tuesday. So let it set till Tuesday. First pass sent a wrecker that was too small. Not their fault, the driver was over aggressive trying to get the business. Second guy was great. Got their looked at it, and said I can tow it for you, or I can replace the transmission line ( hole in line caused the fire) where it sets myself, your choice. Turned out well. Great tow driver and good response from Good Sam. My rig does not have a spare tire, and I don't want one. I would not leave home without my Good Sam emergency insurance active.
