Hey Walt, Sorry I don't know you or your father but it sounds like he will be set up very nicely for the recovery part.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you and yours.

Best of luck to your Dad. I'm sure he will do just fine, particularly because he has you, and family, who care about him. Keep making those plans and keep Dad involved from the moment he wakes up in the recovery room...

I don't know you or your dad, but I enjoyed reading about his plans for the two of you to travel the country for two years. What a grand adventure! The doctors sound optimistic, so hopefully, you'll only have to delay your plans. A loving family will do more to complete the cure than anything. Sounds like your (lucky) dad has that covered. Best wishes. Prayers being sent in your direction.

Prayers for all of you. Cherish each moment together. Many of us wish we had our fathers back just for a day.

Craig:
Been watching the forum for your update. That word PERFECT means a lot, better than hearing everything "went well." Now comes the recovery, and your dad can stop dreading the unknown. Do let him know a lot of folks on the forum have kept him in our prayers.

And thank YOU for being his loving son. That's priceless.
