Happy to hear things worked out great for your Dad. My brother didn't do so well. Last July he was diagnosed with a tumor, non operable. Mid Sept he passed. Hope your Dad's good fortune continues.

Now I feel 10x stupid!!!. I was at the dealership at 8am, they said the problems was most likely the regulator, Said they had one and I was out in less then 2 hours. They also washed and vacuumed the car for me. Also said it was almost due for an oil change and filter, so they did that too. If Dad asks now I can tell him I had the car serviced for him <G>

They are going to let him come home today so he doesn't have to spend the weekend in the hosp. I'm waiting right now for them to discharge him. I'm sure he will be happy that I washed and vacuumed the car for him <G>

We bought both our cars out in Grand Blanc because they had both BMW and Mercedes and I didn't think about looking for a dealership in Novi. I handled this about as well as a teenager that took his Dad's car without asking.

I'm sorry for your loss. When I heard about this, I was half a world away. I was delayed getting home and Dad was late going in because he would not go without me, and I was on the way from Metro. I lost my Mom about 10 years ago and my wife about 2 years ago. Since then, Dads been everything to me. I don't think there are as many adult Sons/ Fathers that are as close as we are. I kept saying that I refused to accept any other outcome, but I lost a lot of sleep and hated that I wasn't there with him. I fully realize how fortunate we are.
