Installing a wind turbine might make the politicians feel better, but it is a lousy way to provide electricity. The money would have been much better spent upgrading real electricity. Turbines average only about 15% of their rated capacity. The problems express above are the result. They don't even generate enough power to pay for the interest on the capital necessary to purchase.

Have you ever been there or even know it's approximate location? When your at the end of the power grid at the extreme edge of the USA different options have different values. Approximate

"Still full price" doesn't sound so bad to me since from what I can see that's only $35.00 max.

Y'all ought to come out here and see what amenities come with a forty-dollar camp spot in the Redwoods. You're lucky if there's light in the bathrooms...

Nope but it was one of my childhood play areas when it was a abandoned military site with a tremendous amount of artifacts to be found.

It's always been a favorite destination of mine long before they even ever thought about having a campground at he location.

I'm less happy that they named it Fishermans Memorial rather than something like Men Of War.

Little bit of history a German U Boat was sunk by one of it's batteries during the closing days of WWII.

But the main point of the thread is still the fact that you can't run your AC with shore power and as many users as possible should be made aware of that fact before they arrive.

Thanks for the heads up, I don't believe I've ever used my A/C while there, and I don't think it will scare anyone away!
