Hi All,

I have an 18' 1985 Wilderness TT and am adding an Assist Handle to it (Soft Touch RV Assist Handle - Item - Camping World) as the little, metal, handle that is the original part is too small and very slippery in cold, wet weather.

I know how to find a stud, in a stick house, but how do you find the stud in a TT so I know it's secure, when I mount this?

Thank you!

Sheila :)

Have you tried a your stud finder ... several brands of the newer stud finders detect differences in density regardless of whether it it drywall, fiberglass, or metal ...

If yours doesn't work go to Home Depot or Lowe's and explain your problem ... I'm sure their resident experts will help you find one that will help you solve your problem ...
