Adjusting the tension on theater seats?

We have Villa theater seats, they do recline, but no matter what position you try to recline in as soon as you stop pushing back on it it snaps to one position, and not a very comfortable position. Is there a way to adjust the tension. It would be nice to be able to recline in a more comfortable position. If it’s designed this way then I don’t understand why I can push it back till I almost lay flat, only to snap back to the one position as soon as I stop pushing. Fleetwood was no help and the Villa people weren’t really any help, they said I can stop by one of their centers and they may be able do something.

I did call them, they just said I had to go to one the their sites (closest is over 700 miles away) and they might be able to make adjustments.

Sounds like you could incorporate the visit with a nice RV trip. Hope they can adjust it for you. Do you have literature that came with it? Did you check online for a manual?

We have the same issue but with their recliners. I contacted them, but no adjustment.

It didn’t come with any literature and I have been on their web site and it doesn’t say anything about it. We may have to take a trip up there, but will be awhile before we can get up that way. We may end up just getting another theater seat or just recliners.
