Advise.......
Ok, I'm new to the fourm and currently on my 3rd travel trailer. We bought a prowler 29 and can't wait for the weather to break and get out there.
I have a question for everyone. This unit has bunk beds in it and it is unlikely we will ever use them. I have been reading every thread I caan for the past week or so and was reading about doing mods to a unit. I think it would be smart for me to leave the top bunk just to throw items. It there anything I can do with the bottom one? I liked the thought of putting a desk in below it but the wife said hell no to that one.
And suggestions to what I might be able to do with the space?

Do you like bicycling while camping? That would be a great place to stow bikes inside and protected from the elements while traveling.

I have a little pocket bike I was going to throw on the bottom bunk but I didn't know if I should remove it or do something better with the space.

I've seen everything from bike/equipment storage to pantry selves to 'walk in' closet to stacked washer/dryer..

Since you're on your 3rd TT, what in your other TT's would you have liked to have or have more of that you didn't? That might be a clue for what to do with the space.

Excellent point, I came from a 18 foot Nomade and this is so much more room to start will, I just want to make it look nice. Thought of the washer and dryer.

OOooooo Built in dresser is goood I'm sure she would love that.. Always use that. Ty, that's good.
It's acrost from the bathroom so that could work well. A drawer for spare towels too...

I have a 16' BH and took the top bunk out so that we can actually use the lower bunk as needed. We use it to sit on, and I sleep on it since the dinette bed means the one up against the wall can't easily get out in the night.
We cut the top bunk flush with the short wall so that we still have some storage. We also cut the outside wall down to more of a low headboard height to open the space up more.
