Air compressors
Does anyone carry an air compressor onbaord to fill tires and if so any recommendations?

I purchased a Viair compressor for my DP. Struggled with my normal compressor getting the pressure.

I carry a Husky, purchased from Home Depot, the max pressure I need a 110psi.

X2 on the Viar. I stuggled to find a small portable compressor to top off my tire to 120 psi until finding Viar. I have the 450P automatic. Although they sell the 400P-RV automatic that is sold for rving the 450P has a 100% duty cycle where the 400P does not and is needed for my large tires.
I have had this compressor for about 6 months and would highly recommend it.
The pancake compressors that many use were just to large for me.

I purchased a of Viair 40047 400P-RV that works like a dream keeping my tires up. It's smaller than a pancake compressor and can work off the house batteries. It's pretty quick adding 5 -10 lbs but I don't think it would do well airing from 0 to 110 psi. And it comes in it's own pouch that stores everything you need.

I keep a pumped up air tank (from Harbor Freight) in my tow vehicle. I will go to a gas station and fill it up if it runs out when I'm away from home.

About every tire needs at least 100 psi so if you buy a 110 psi compressor you will have a time trying to top off. I purchased the egg shaped craftsman 150psi light weight and not big.

If you have room and upper body strength, a oatcake compressor is hard to beat.

Ditto on Clifftall's Craftsman 150 psi.
We also use it to blow our water softener when traveling.
Has worked for 3 years no problems, $120.
