Air Head!

Today DW and I decided to go for a drive. I stopped with our toad to get some gas and was just finishing filling the tank. I was pulled up to the first pump and there was room behind me for someone to pull up to the second pump. In comes some dude with a class C and is inching up behind me, so to be courteous I watched till he was within a foot of me and put up my hand signaling him to stop. He was looking straight at me and keeps coming ahead and bangs my plastic bumper. He then gets out and says oh don't worry I won't hit your car. I said you already did hit my car. He says NO I DID NOT. So I pointed at my bumper and his that are touching. He turns and walks away so I pulled ahead and checked my bumper and it was ok. He then looks at me as if I am the idiot.
Against my wanting to walk over and bang his nose, I got in the car and drove away. I don't really expect alot and there was no damage done, but at least he could have acknowledged what he had done instead of being an idiot. Rant over.

Dennis - wasn't it you who said ya can't fix stupid on that other thread?

Every time ya think it's foolproof - hand in air signaling STOP - they invent a bigger fool.

Hope ya got back to civilization and a cold something or the other - or bacon.
Steve

Yup we went out to our favorite lake, and I feel better now. We stopped and had a burger (with bacon) and something cold when we got home. He didn't ruin the day!

Just when you think you have things completely "idiot-proof", the world comes along with a "new and improved" idiot.

Glad there was no damage, other than blood pressure elevation.

I used to tell "newbies" to the auto claim department that "...if it weren't for people like that, we wouldn't have jobs". I never worried much about job security.

Might have been me. I have a novelty plate that says that.

I'm afraid if I put it on the front of my truck or above my enclosed trailer plate, I'd make one mistake and all fingers would be all pointing at me.

Instead, I have: "I'm driving like this just to piss you off" above my trailer plate.

There's a cure for ignorance, but none for stupidity.

There is a self-replicating "S" chromosome in the gene pool. Be careful out there folks.

Just goes to show that a little bleach now and then benefits the gene pool.....

It is times like that, that I wish I was driving an old beater. Go ahead back up fast and then leave. The only thing is, nobody ever runs in to a beater.

some people just need a good hard slap across the face to get their attention. I do not deal with idiots very well. Glad you handled it so easily
