Air in water line

I am getting air in the water line when using the pump. Everything is OK when hooked up to city water. I have checked everything I can think of with no luck. Can't find any water leaks but getting air from somewhere. How can I find where the air is getting in at? Thanks

To get air in the water line there is most likely a loose connection or damaged line upstream of the pump, on the low pressure side.
Since it is the low pressure side there may not be much evidence of a leak.
Check all of the lines and connections between the pump and the water tank.
Tighten all connections, check the lines for cracks.

Mine appeared to be air in the line but turned out to be a kink in the line between the pump and the tank.

You may have left your tank fill valve open. That will introduce air into the water pump line if shore hose is not connected.

The selector valve on fill tank and city failed and mine was doing that. Part of the water was going back into the tank.
You don’t have to remove the whole valve just remove the handle and unscrew the stem and pull that little part out. Relive it or order a new valve $13.
Or just pick up some faucet lube and you will be good.

So I had a similar problem and it was the valve connected to the hose that is used to winterize the trailer. If that valve's open it'll cause some issues. I found it very close to the water pump.
