Airexcell Heat pump NOISE at shut down

I have two identical units, 15k btu heat pump units

the front one starts and stops perfectly, it does go SWOOSH in heat pump mode right it shuts down to relieve pressure.
during a/c mode it releases pressure but is very quiet and almost never hear it.

but the last month my rear a/c is making a LOUD unpredictable screech noise as the relief valve lets off the pressure after shut down. sometimes it waits up to 45 seconds and then noise is horrendous enough to wake you right up.
if i switch to heat pump and let it run for five or so minutes and shut down normally the soft swoosh is all you hear.

but in a/c mode it starts and runs normally and cools perfectly, until it shuts down when temp is reached for the setting, then a slow screech or a delayed screech happens at anytime during the 45 seconds.
i have searched and searched and cannot find if this is serviceable or something that needs a smacking.

i talked to the main tech line and was told the release or relief of pressure is normal, but they had no idea about the noise or itf its normal r ??
any ideas?
