All Batteries down, then return?

Confused how both House and Chasis batteries could appear dead (no interior lighting, no gen turnover, no ignition turnover, etc.). Then return when checked 30 min later?? Thought only common circuit is the isolater unit, otherwise systems should be separate? The kill switch was effectively removed long ago. Any ideas?

Check if the ground cable is a common connection.

The isolator should not have anything to do with starting the generator or engine.

You probably have battery disconnect solenoids for both batteries. Were they switched off and got turned back on?

Both chassis and house 12v systems use the RV chassis as the ground, but each battery bank usually has its own ground wire to the chassis. Not likely both would fail at same time, but?

Battery solenoids switch?

I could have solenoid switches. Still figuring out all the panel switches. Some are unmarked. My father was the only knowledgeable, prior single owner...he pasted away last year. Without a Damon owners manual (searching...separate thread) still figuring a lot of things out. But, the last electrical action was an attempt to start the generator...then ALL power went out.

True Story: Patrol car would not start (State Police) So they radioed for a tow..Slammed (Shut firmly, not a true slam) the door a couple times and it started.

Problem: Screw loose (well loose nut in this case) Yup the department had a loose nut.....
Home is where I park it!
