Americans above everything else.

I was in Panama City FL on Thursday, less than 24 hours after Hurricane Michael ripped things apart. I have to say I saw people coming together to support each other and it made me feel good inside to see it. While driving across town we passed by the PC Camping World and we could easily identify the giant American Flag they display proudly waving in the breeze. They hadnít even begun to clean up the tangle of RVs in the sales lot but they took time to show everyone how important it is to be represented by Old Glory.

When we visit Canada we are not offended at all by seeing Canadian flags flying in their own country. Actually itís good to see!

Not there, but can anybody say for sure that CW had enough respect to bring it down before the storm?

I thought it was funny as hell, went to bed laughing last night. If somebody found that offensive, they need to take a chill pill!
ScoobyDoo, that flag looks too fresh to have gone through a hurricane.
I assume that "Grumpyman" is not a fan of "Saturday Night Live" if that flag post is offensive to him.

It might be. The local CW has left the flag up thru tornado warnings. From what I see, most people/places hang it up, and leave it until it starts to tear itself up. May shine a light in its general direction.

The Star Spangled theme song flag went through HELL and became a National Icon.

I wasnít there for the storm but I can say if they hadnít taken it down before the storm the pole likely wouldnít have survived. There were very few power poles left standing in that area, not too many trees either.
