It is very easy to bring Mi-Fi into an underground facility.
Not so much on DirecTV/Dish (But that can be done by a difrferent method) but it can be done.
Of course. if, as the British say "The balloon ever goes up".
Your fancy radio based communications (Cell, Mi-FI, Sat TV) are going to be bricks, completly useless. Some of my hardware may survive, (Along with a few thousand others) but that's about it.

Underground RVs
The story is not so wild. I formerly lived in a suburb of Kansas City and searched for a place to store my RV because my subdivision would not allow it at home. I located a storage company just south of the Missouri River, north of Independence Missouri that offered RV storage for any type of RV, including Prevost or even tractor trailer conversions. They stored these RVs underground in a former limestone mine. The mining had been stopped and the group that owned it said " what can you do with an enormous whole in the ground?". They had concreted the floors and epoxy painted the walls and added hundreds of fluorescent lights. These caves are very common in eastern Missouri and Western Kansas. There are dozens of businesses underground in these temperature stable facilities. The place I used had "valet" parking. You drive up in your RV and some attendant takes your RV into the cave and parks it. The place I was at stored over 300 boats and several hundred RVs including the Missouri fish and game boats. The nice thing was I never had to winterize and even in 95F temps in the summer my RV was stored in a dry 55F temperature. The cost of this storage place was less than the warehouse place I use now in Florida and is used by RV owners from many nearby states because of the near perfect conditions for an RV or boat.

Actually, using these "holes in the ground" for storage does make sense. As has been pointed out, no need to winterize, climate/temperature controlled. Sounds like a great place for storage if you do not use your RV FT!

I got a kick out of the last statement; "if you get here after the fact, we'll still let you in". Survive doomsday and we'll still let you in_ right.
