It was a treat to read about your positive experience at Bish's. I remember passing the dealership when we drove through Idaho Falls a couple of years ago. In today's society, it seems to me that too many businesses focus on how much money they can squeeze out of customers and completely ignore the concept of providing excellent service. Those, like Bish's, that focus on their relationships with customers and actually meeting their needs should be applauded.
We had a similar experience with Osburn GMC in Dubois, Pennsylvania, a couple of years ago. We were towing our travel trailer through Pennsylvania when our truck broke down. The friendly, professional folks in the service department there juggled their schedule to fit us in almost immediately and patched us up so that we could get the truck (and ourselves) home safely. We will never forget their kindness.
Another time, a wheel bearing went on our travel trailer while traveling on I-94 in Wisconsin. A truck from Jerry's Truck & Trailer Repair in Roberts, Wisconsin, responded to the call from Coach-Net. That was at 3:00pm on a hot summer afternoon. The super helpful staff at Jerry's allowed us to camp on their lot overnight, had us in the shop by 6:30 the next morning and on our way later that day. The crew at Jerry's did everything in their power to get us back on the road quickly, and losing only one day was a blessing.
There are some excellent businesses and some really good people out there who deserve recognition, and it's always heartwarming to hear about them!
Safe travels,
Mary
