I wonder if this was another Norcold fridge fire.

Man badly burned in camper fire at Tampa RV park

I think it is a bit natural to jump on the Norcold fire thing but let's not forget that there are lots of other reasons for any fire in or out of an RV. BTW...I am not defending Norcold...got rid of mine both for performance and safety.

Remembering the recent weather in FL, there are a number of possible sources.
Another grim reminder to heed the advice for having multiple working smoke detectors and practice escaping your RV from both ends. A fire can happen to anyone, at any time.

It amuses me when the Norcold fear of fire crowd raises their head. My Norcold (my second) gives me excellent service, I am sold on Norcold, even on the sunny side of the rig.

I you want to worry about something, worry about even driving an RV on the open road, that's where the deaths occur!
