Question Any advice on how to find RV Lots with buildings for sale?

We’re considering going partly-mobile, which for us requires purchase (or long-term lease) of an RV lot "home base" somewhere in the "lower 48" out of the winter weather.

It must:
  1. Be within an hour or so of a major hub airport with lots of flight connections (for my work)
  2. Have a building attached with a little guest living space (kitchenette, washer/dryer, sleeping area, living area) and 200 ft2 of storage, preferably inside the building so it has A/C.
  3. Have a carport for the largest Class A Motorhome (e.g., 45’) to protect from the sun and weather
  4. Have room to park a car (hopefully also covered).
  5. Have high-speed internet
  6. Be pretty – nice view of some nature from patio side of the RV (and not just the back of someone else’s RV). We do like trees, but they might be hard to come by if we choose Florida!
  7. Be in a nice RV community for near-retired folks
Near the Orlando airport would be a bonus - lure the kids/grandkids there with Disney passes!

Does anyone know where we could go to search for setups like this? How would you describe what we’re looking for? Is there some search term we should be using in Google? Are there real estate agents that handle this kind of thing?

Take a look at Mt. Olive Shores North, or Bay Lake RV resort....either one should fit you requirements. I know Bay Lake has a few vacant lots approved for "port homes", where you can build out an RV carport or garage, and are approved lots to build up to a 900 sq.ft. "Casita".

Ah. "Casitas" is the magic search term!

Thank you Ernie and Dianna! These are definitely putting us in the ballpark!

Try Googling 'RV Lots for Sale' or RV Lots with Casitas for Sale' and the state you're interested in and you'll get a lot of ideas.

I would strongly advise that you first test out different states and different areas within the state before you buy. Ourselves, we'd rather travel and see new areas rather than staying in one place year after year.

Here is one site:

Close by me is a closed down RV repair facility. If you PM me I'll get more info.
It is in either Oakhiil or Edgewater Florida. Right at the hour to major airport, Orlando.
Let me know if interested.

You might try The Great Outdoors in Titusville, FL.,
