Medico, I don't know if you requested a copy of ACCs contract or not. I did, and am waiting to review it before I either move forward with WW or ACC. The coverage ACC is offering against WW seems superior and at a lower cost, but won't really know till I see the contract. I didn't like the sequence of the purchase of a warranty through ACC, but got Mr. Burgess to agree to send me a sample contract for review. If it is an exclusionary policy, has consequential damage, has the enhanced towing & tire coverage, and everything else I read in the brochure, more than likely I will go that route. WW was hodge podding a contract together to try to compete with it, and it was still more money... Like $600 more and still didnt include everything ACC boasts... With all that said, nothing will become finalized until I review the contract.

Steve, I just requested a copy of the contract as well. In my case the price was:

ACC: $3440 for 2 years, Premium package, $4975 for 3 years, $5875 for 4 years, $500 deductible

WW: $5997 for 2 years 24000 miles, $7597 3 years, $200 deductible. The prices went up when I asked for a $500 deductible if you can believe that.

As you can see my statement of almost twice the amout for WW over ACC is very accurate.

The ACC quote includes unlimited towing and tires (my coach must be towed on a lowboy. Cost would be considerable over $150)

The WW quote does not, Towing is $150 limited, Tires add 3 years = $349, 4 years = $379

For my coach there is just no comparison.

GS was $2975 per year with $500 deductible.

Ted

I've already eliminated GS as their cost is in left field... actually not even in the ball park. My quote from ACC is nearly identical yours with a $500 deductible. Add $500 to each for a $200 deductible. After I receive and review the contract, I will report back on my thoughts. Like I said, I was able to get something close from WW, but unless there's something really wrong with the ACC contract, I'm going with ACC.

I received a copy of the contract. It's a 6 page document in PDF format. I do not see any way to attach files here otherwise I would do so.

If you PM me with your email address I will forward the email and/or attachment to you.

Medico, I actually received contracts from both ACC and WW between last night and this morning. Steve B. has been very responsive to all my questions and requests. To be fair, Brittany over at WW has been very helpful as well... With WW (Interstate), if your MH is 8 years +, you do not have seals or gasket coverage. The ACC contract says the same, but Steve will provide extended coverage included in the price. Since it only came together this morning, I really need to get into it line by line. I know I read in here that somebody was complaining about having to shell the money out first and get re-imbursed... which is right in the contract, first paragraph. Steve told me that is in there in case you deal with a mobile mechanic or need to pay some one on the spot before you can drive off... which makes perfect sense to me. If you find anything in the contracts you find questionable or is a red flag, feel free to PM me. Also, if you don't have the WW warranty and Coachnet contract, PM me with your e-mail address and I will sent them to you.

Medico,
The BBB rating for ACC is not an A it is an F. I belive you are looking at ACC warenty in Florida and back to 2000, not sure this ACC still exists and yes had only 1 comment years ago. 9not sure that ACC still exists) Check BBB central Indiana, will show ACC at 8888 Keystone Crossing Indianapolis address they use. The F is do to non-response on multiple complaints and will not respond to BBB on years in business and background information.

I stand corrected. I finally found the correct one and you are correct. In my case I have decided to self insure anyway. The costs are just too high, over $4000 to $5000 for 2 years, no way!

Actually I found out there is a discrepancy here. The ACC Warranty Group (This is Steve Burgess I believe) seems to be out of Florida and are A+ rated. The ACC Warranty Services in Indianapolis is the one that is F rated. Steve told me that this services group is just a road service group in Indianapolis.

Steve's phone number is the same as in this BBB this one in Florida.

This is the BBB for the Indianapolis A C C Warranty Services

I guess I am not sure the differences, but the web site listed by the first link and the phone number listed by the first link are the numbers I have for Steve Burgess.

I hope this helps someone. I will most like self insure due to the cost.

Well I have been searching since my last posting also and have got quotes from 4 companys., with ACC being the least and seemingly the best coverage BUT I am very sceptical because of past history here. I am 90% sure I will be self insuring also. Keep my servcing and maintainance up to date and go with the flow as they say. HAVE A GREAT DAY EVERYONE!

Not So

Medico,
I read what you wrote that Sreve Burgess told you. Then I checked the FL. Secretary of State sight. ACC warranty was desolved in FL. in 2008, the principle was Steve Burgess. The ACC in Indiana was formed in 2008 with Steve Bugress as princible, (checked IN. SEC of State) There is but one ACC in Indiana on the 13 th floor of an office building at 8888 Keystone. (checked on line IN. BBB, same address where complaints were filed) Noticed on ACC site that ACC will/not (or cannot?) sell a warrenty to a FL. resident. (only state ACC excudes) On hunch called Lazy Days (largest operator in FL.) and asked the warrenty department (actual guy who calls in warrenty info) if they handle ACC, answer was NO, customer must handle 100% themselves, they do not even submit parts and labor info directly to ACC. Might ask Steve about why the FL. " "resident restriction" only State they restrict, not familar with any other warrenty co. that does so, and why he disolved Fl.Co. in 2008 but uses that BBB rating, claims offoce in FL. but restricts FL.contracts? WEIRD!

As I said, I will be self insuring. Even the cheapest quote was out of reach and nuts. I know nothing about any of these people or companies personally. Was just asking and relating what I was told.

I have no experience with them, nor do I know anyone who does, however RV Extended Warranty Coverage, RV Warranty Specialists - Wholesale Warranties for RV Repair had the best value for the money of any I contacted. Some of the folks on escapees.com does have their extended service contract.

WW wanted way too much for me.

2 years/ 24K Miles = $800 down, plus 12 monthly payments of $433.08 = $5,997

3 years/ 36K Miles = $7,597

Enjoy a $500 Discount If Paying In Full!
Your Discounted Price Would Then Be -

2 years/ 24K Miles = $5,497

3 years/ 36K Miles = $7,597

$6000 for 2 years. THAT IS UNBELIEVABLE! They have to be nuts!
