Any experience with EasyCare or USA Travel Care ESW

I was quoted $6,900 for an 8 Yr policy with EasyCare as long as my 2015 DP still had at least 3 months factory warranty left and no more than 14,000 miles on it at the time. From what I can tell by reading the policy on the internet it seems to be an Exclusionary policy but I haven't been able to tell if it also has contingent coverage or not.

A factory service rep stated they had good experience with USA Travel Care but I haven't been able to find out anything about their contract.

Has anyone had any experience with either EasyCare or USA extended warranties?

If you read your contract carefully you should be able to tell just what is, or isn't covered and it most likely has a deductible.

Checking the internet, I find that USA Travel Care is a part of American Guardian Group, which is a company that writes a lot of that type of contract. If you look online you can find a copy of the brochure that spells out just what it covers, but the contract is the final word. It does state that their platinum contract is exclusionary and that it does cover all except what is listed under "What This Agreement Does Not Cover."

We had USA Travelcare policy on our previous (2002 model) coach and had no complaints. Only had one claim, as I recall, and we got a partial refund for terminating it early when we traded the coach.

Most problems with these policies come from misunderstandings about what they cover and the required procedures. Sales people promise a lot more than most policies deliver, so you really need to understand the specifics of the policy. Naturally, they highlight what is covered far more than what is not, but all these policies are chock full of general exclusions, e.g. things like body parts, anything that gets "wear & tear", etc. And all those will be rigorously enforced - no slack cut.

I currently have an Easy Care policy on my 2007 Suncruiser. Used them 3-4 times and never had an issue or complaint.
