Any LPG generator users here use a Gen-Turi exhaust system?

Thinking about getting one but wanted to hear reviews first from fellow LPG generator users.

I was also thinking about making one since I don't think there is much to it, anyone have closeup pictures of one?

If you use the Google search function at the top of the page for "Gen-Turi" you will find lots of threads about home made Gen-Turi set ups. I don't know why it would make a difference of fuel type.

I wasn't sure if the propane gas exhaust was heavier than air or not.

Propane is what they use in fork trucks that run inside. Also ran propane gens inside. Not sure if its less or no carbon monoxide.

I was more wanting to get rid of the smell, not really the exhaust itself. I was hoping the Gen-Turi would vent it up and away from the camp.

It's heated CO and other gases. They will rise up an exhaust pipe like any other hot gas.

We have a Genturi but our generator is gas. However, it really works well, the only thing you need to watch for is that you don't have any open roof vents or fans sucking in air, otherwise you could have a CO problem.
Also seems to quiet the generator down a bit.
