USArmy, 1/1966-1/68, drafted, Ft. Bliss, Homestead AFB and Okinawa D-2-61 White Beach. SPC5 Herc Msl Mechanic. Proud to have served and of the job I did.

I left the military to resume my career as a LEO. Retired with 31 years of service. 1962 to 1995 with 2 years off with Uncle Sam. Thanks to all who made a career of the service.

Bn. 80-82 Frankfurt Germany, Farankfurt Military Club System. 82-84 Ft Hamilton Ny. Club System. 84-88 Zama Japan Club System. A 20 year ride, have been able to see a lot and even some I didn't want to see but it was all in the package. Thankyou Retirees and other vets.

US Army 27 May 1960 - 1 June 1990, thirty years and four days active duty. Infantry then Aviation. Germany, Vietnam (twice), Korea (twice). Have been RVing since 1969. Currently own a Lance slide-in camper and a Born Free Class C motorhome.

USAF Retired, KC 135 Boom Operator In Flight Refueling Specialty. Flew, Flying Tiger 100 missions, Linebacker, Command Post.
Retired at Castle AFB, Ca. in 1984. Was in CFIC, Central Flight Instructor Course, taught class room and in flight.
Have see a lot of this world, the good also bad and darn proud to be a Veteran.

Check out the FAM Camps on the military bases and you will find a lot of retired military.

We just spent some time at the FAM Camp on the Mayport Navy Station in Jacksonville, FL and they had several socials to meet and greet.

Was a fire fighter, and also on Pedro (HH-43) Wurtsmith AF MI, Anderson AFB Guam, Empire AFS MI, Chanute AFB, IL; Radar Operator with time on the EC-121, Homestead AFB, FL, King Salmon AFS AK, Empire AFS, MI; taught fire fighting and rescue at the school house, Chanute TTC, IL; recruiter and recruiting supervisor, Kenosha WI, Rhein Main GE, Glens Falls, NY; Flight Steward (VC-135, VC -137, C-9) Andrews AFB, DC, and USCENTCOM (EC-135) MacDill AFB, FL. Loved my career and miss it everyday!!!!

USAF 75-95, sheet metal/corrosion troop. Seymour Johnson, Davis Monthan, Incirlik, Turkey, George, Upper Heyford UK, Norton, and back to DM to retire. Working at the 309 AMARG (boneyard) now. Another 3 and a half years to retire again!!!
