Hi all, I'm new to this site. We've recently retired from Northern CA to middle TN. We still haven't found too many RV's in our area. Anyone out there in the Nashville/Clarksville, TN area?

We're not from that area, but we will be passing through soon as we meander toward Florida for the winter.

We've been in TN for about a year & a half & have yet to meet any other RV'rs. We've been to FL last winter and met a few nice people but most live elsewhere. We would love to find some people locally with whom we could travel in the TN and adjoining areas. We will be leaving TN mid January for St. Petersburg for a couple of months and I'm sure we will find many RV'rs, but still would like to make contact with local RV'rs.

I am fairly new to this site too. Love it though. Great site to be on. We are from the Cookeville area and have only RV'd local so far. Just purchased our motor home this year so we are new at RV'ing. Nice to meet you and enjoy the site.

Thanks or the response! We've been RV'ing foe 18 years & have a 40' Damon Escaper. Maybe we can meet up when we get back to TN. You might know of some RV parks in your area, most in our area close for the winter.

It would help if you put your location in your post information. Also, try camping at some of the campgrounds in your area. You will get to meet lots of nice folks that way.

Hard to imagine you have been in middle TN for 1 1/2 years and haven't met any campers. We camp locally during the summer and meet lots of great campers and make friends with most.
