I was talking to a seasoned RV salesman today and he said that thing have been a little "soft'" for them this year. He blamed the "softness" partly on rising fuel prices. They were not seeing many first time buyers. Potential buyers are doing their arithmetic and seeing that a new RV is not within their budgets. I wonder if this is the start of a decline in RV'ing. As we are no longer or willing to continue with the RV life style, who will be taking our place if there is no new blood?

I find this a bit on the strange side----here in Florida---diesel at Flying J's in our area are at $2.23 and low and behold----just up the street from us a Chevron station just dropped their price from $2.29 down to $2.23 also---and they are the lowest in Pinellas County at this time and about 25 miles away from the closest Flying J. Then I go on to Mpls/St.Paul diesel prices and good golly----they are down around $2.03 to $2.06 at their lowest cost area stations----several of them being BP's. They haven't been below Florida in diesel prices in years. Now I'm going to look at Georgia, Tenn, and Kentucky------they always seem to come in low because of their tax structure. The lates word I've heard from here in Florida is they will not drop until after the Memorial Day holiday------then maybe they will go back into the $1.75 to $1.95 range. PJRACER

Crude Oil futures are dropping like a rock. This should be reflected in the pump price in about 6 months.

When crude oil prices rise, it is reflected at the pump in about six minutes

PJRACER,
Glad you enjoyed it. We enjoyed taking them.
You should go anyway and take pictures and post them so I can look at yours.

Thanks for the compliment. Have many more, but too cheap to become member, so only posted what was allowed without joining Webshots.

I agree about the great photos erpa, imagine all the gas money I've saved now that I have seen all these places through your pictures. Gas is .85 per litre up here.

Guess that would be about $1.00 per gallon more than by me.

Thanks. Think you should also go and take pictures and enjoy the beautiful sights.
Think your two parks (Banff & Jasper) are two of the nicest in North America.
