We see lots of the maps of the US with the stickers of states visited. If you switch to a new RV can you claim credit for states visited with the old RV or only what you visit with that specific RV? Can you claim credit for states that you just drive through or do you need to spend a night there?
Not loosing any sleep over this, just one of those things you think about while driving.
Your map, your rules. Do what you want.

Friends of ours had a 24ft Airstream which was used as the Clubhouse for our universities football games. For most of that time he was single. He also went to all the road games too. He had a map on his trailer and he colored in all the states the Airstream had been to.

Not long after getting married, they sold the old Airstream and bought a used 1991 model, that is 34 ft long and triple axle. They put a new map on it, and started collecting states again.

On the other hand, my original map that I got when we had our original trailer. I bought a large picture frame with a glass front and put the map on the glass. When we sold that trailer and bought our new one, I took the map with us, and continued to fill it in. I did put a dot in all the states visited with the original trailer.

New RV owner. Any recommendations for these maps? I see a few different ones on Amazon.

Ive been debating the stickers and decided that if I pass thru for an overnight stop, I dont count it. If we do any form of touristy activity, the stickers go on.

Thread follow

I'll second that request to know about recommendations for US maps. We want to travel the lower 48 and have talked about some sort of map stickers to both show where we've been and keep a souvenir for our son to remember it all by.

Buy a rig with less windows so you will have a place to hang it. We have so many windows in our Beaver there is no open wall space lol.

While staying at NS Mayport famcamp a rig took the site next to us and had the U.S. sticker map on the side. After chatting with the couple for a few days, the subject of the sticker map came up. The DW tells my DW that they only put the state sticker on the map if they had carnal knowledge in that state. That was humorous as the couple was in their late 70's and the map was nearly full...LOL!

We bought our first RV yesterday. I know the rules I plan to use now.

Oh noes! That's the rule? Well, I'm going to have to get a new map. I have way too many places marked off.
