Anybody going out for the long weekend?

Is anyone in the forum going to Bethpage campground in Urbanna virginia? I will be down there for the weekend. Have a safe and a happy memorial weekend. Joe

Nope, too crowded most everywhere on holiday weekends. The next weekend after we take a couple extra days off and going to the Balloon Festival near Temecula CA at Lake Skinner.

Took next week off

So on paper sounds good....3 day weekend plus 4 vacation days .. 9 days no work. But, taking MH to Mattoon IL to replace the roof on DD house. Enjoy the shade and have a cold one for me.

Nope, never on major holidays, it's nothing but amateur hour everywhere. All the weekend warriors come out in droves all attempting to get somewhere in an unsafe hurry. Highways are packed, campgrounds are drunk fests and waterways are a disaster! We boated for years and never took the boat out on holidays either ... but we did day trip to the boat ramp and setup a popup and cooler to the side and watch ramp follies all day! That's way more fun than being on the boat sometimes!
