I've been busy this weekend performing maintenance on the RV and also installed the baseplate onto our toad. I moved the RV into the driveway yesterday and kept the windows open to air it out. Next I decided to hook the cable up and bring my laptop outside to run off our house wifi. I think I'll sleep out here tonight as the temps are perfect and I'm enjoying the cool breeze.

I've done it twice. Both times the DW was really pissed at me about something...

When we were newbies to our first fifthwheel, our first camping night was in the front yard. Best place to be if we forgot something or had a problem.

More recently we've spent several nights in our adult kids driveways.

Every power outage we move out to the camper, crank the genset, and enjoy!

I wanted to do that!

The DW suggested that I go see the doctor!

We set up Camp Wood in the driveway all the time!
Makes it a cheap vacation!

The kids and their friends love it!

I have done it with all my RVs good way to find out what works what needs to be fixed and where to store stuff.... Of course the neighbors think I'm nuts ... I'm not sure if it is the RV camp in the yard thing or something else eh, eh...

We're there right now. Spent the day dewinterizing, checking & getting systems ready for our first outting later this month. A bit nippy here, but that's what the furnace is for.

It makes a nice guest bedroom, or dog house, which ever is most needed at the time...

You mean for the dog or for you when you've been bad?

I respectfully refuse to answer on the grounds .... er, we don't own a dog. We do have a cat, I just can't see DW letting me use it for a "cat house".
