If that location is on the NJ Turnpike or Garden State PKWY, parking is permitted for 2 hours max (exception for commercial trucks of up to 10 hours).

It's on 295

Unless my link is wrong it said Bordontown NJ. I know that rest stop it is in Carneys point NY near the base of the Delaware Memorial Bridge on 295N. It is a reasonably safe area but it sits with 295 on one side and the NJ Turnpike on the outer. I do not know it the police will leave you alone or not.

Well, according to the DOT it's not on the turnpike, so unless the Jersey cops don't know the state's own policy it shouldn't be an issue. But I may reconsider the whole rest stop stay anyway.

The rest stop the you show on the map is in Carneys Point (NJ). For some reason it has Bordentown listed, which is about 60 miles north (near Trenton). I am from the area and I don't believe that you will have any problems. If I am correct, there is a Flying J in that area.

Try Google Maps...much better IMO...The blue tarp is gone in Google's aerial pic.

39.686706,-75.474809 - Google Maps

That is a rest-stop on 295 just South of Carney's Point Township at:
452 S. Pennsville Auburn Rd. Penns Grove, NJ 08069

GeoCoord: 39.686706,-75.474809

I very much doubt you are allowed to spend the night there...maybe a short "rest-stop"...but what do I know, I'm in SoCal

Best of luck!

The rest stop is on 295 but the back side is bording the NJ Turnpike. So you hear both roads at night.

If that rest area is next to Bordentown NJ, that I would just go to the Petro Truck stop. That is what I did the last time I came out of Philly with my RV. I parked out front of the restaurant with the Small trucks and bobtail tractors. It was safe and no one bothered us.
