Anyone go from Class A DP to Fifth Wheel or TT????

Has anyone gotten soooo fed up with all the repairs a Class A DP needs and just said" I'm done" , and sold it and just bought a nice pickup and a fifth wheel or TT ?
I have only had my coach 3 months, but it seems like it is always in the repair shop.
Any advice is appreciated.

Sorry your having troubles but do think for a minute that trucks and fifth wheels don't have problems. I have a new HR that was in the shop 3 months it's first year and had to go to wildwood florida for repairs when it sold it everything was perfect. When your dealing with a moving house as they say -hit happens.

Did you buy the coach new or used? What are the problems you encountered?

Any and all things will have problems. To me, if you're going to be an RVer, you had better be a Jack or Jill of all trades, or these things can nickel and dime you to death.

If you're so inclined an Extended warranty may help. Generally it seems that the most dissatisfied folks of either MHs, 5ers, or TTs are the ones that have to go back to the Dealer to have a lite bulb changed. A little sarcastic, but you get the point.

Sorry for your problems. Believe it or not they will get better.

Just because things are going wrong for now does not mean tomorrow everything will not be great. Changing from one type RV to another definitely does not mean things will be fine. It sounds as though you are purchasing used, which many of us do. In this case things can go wrong, just as they can with new RV's.

I am a MH person. I have been in many 5ers, and I just do not believe I could live in a 5er FT. I believe my MH has higher quality than I could get in a 5er. I have tons of storage space, more than any 5er I have been in.

I will not change and I would hope you think hard before you do.

Yes Medico, I did buy used. I guess I got spoiled with my first rv. It was a gasser and never had any problems. Thus far the dealer has picked up the tab, but this is the last repair(new inverter) that they will pay for.
Thanks for he kind words of encouragement to stick with my MH. I have a bad back and I think a 5er or TT would be too much work for me.

Took me till about now to iron out most issues. I have had mine 4+ years. But the previous owner on mine did not take care of it.
