If you're in Yosemite National Park between April 19 and September 7, stop by the Ahwanhee Hotel for a meal and ask for son #2, Matt.

He is a culinary student at the CIA and is doing his externship at the hotel under Executive Chef Percy Whately. Besides being a great cook, Matt also can fix your water heater, install a bell housing, change your genset oil, or do any other tasks that he learned in a lifetime of motorhome travel. He's also great at getting cars on tow dollies! He will be even MORE helpful if you have a college aged daughter or granddaughter in tow...

Hmmm . . . didn't know the CIA had chefs Just kidding!

What a great place to learn and live - Yosemite NP is a wonderful gift to mankind, and the Ahwanhee Hotel is one of man's best attempt to glorify it. Oh what I'd give to be Matt's age and have the opportunity to spend a summer at Yosemite

Good luck to Matt! We visited Yosemite this past October, so no return trip is planned . . . yet . . . so we won't be able to give him a holler.
