Thinking of making more room and take out seats in F350 supercab with TC. Maybe carry my Honda 2000 Gen, scuba tanks etc back there. No kids at home to haul, so could use the extra room.

Anyone try it, how did it work out?

would thinks its pretty straightforward

we used to take the back seat out of the crew cab dually
we had the LARGE no fold up comfy seat and the dogs had a hard time with it on trips so we left it at home
laid out a thick blanket on the floor and they were happy

Had a 72 supercab, it did not come with the back seat. I made a plywood box with a upholstrered lid for the kids a little higher than the stock seat. I had a lot of storage underneath. and the goodeys were out of sight. The76, 88, 91, 97and, 05 still had the stock seat, the cat loves it.

My last work rig was an F350, and we took the rear seat out to haul our tools inside the cab. We made a plywood floor and carpeted it, then put hinged 'doors' under the ends and put the fire extiguisher, first aid kits, and other misc. stuff under there. Took about a day to put it all in, and when we cleaned the truck up for sale, took about an hour to put it back to stock.
