Anyone use this: MeterMaid Portable Power Meter?

Here is a pretty interesting product I am looking at. It is used to calculate KW usage for billing by marinas and Campgrounds. You just plug it is and your good to go. No hardwiring.

We rent space from a private residence on rural property and would like to have an accurate record of our electric usages.

You will get a short list of people that will actually accept your meter for measure. You have a great idea but it is give and take when computing power from others. Mostly you give and they take

I see no use for this at a CG that charges for electricity. It could be useful for your own info or using it at a friends or relatives house for re-payment. Other than that, I see nothing but a toy and a waste of money.

If you were on 20amp or wanted to check 110v appliance energy use, then one of these would be the way to go for $25
